PRESENTATION PITCH
A production pitch is a presentation or proposal made by a filmmaker or producer. The goal of the pitch is to persuade the audience to provide the necessary approval or resources to bring the project to life! The pitch is usually a verbal and highlights the key elements of the project such as the story, research, purpose, content and resources needed. In my production pitch I have created 10 slides themed to social media to create a visual and link my pitch to my project even more than the information. I covered 7 topics being; the overview of my project, the purpose, my research, content, production research, and the viability of the documentary. I wrote out my key points that I will expand on when presenting my pitch to Paul in the upcoming week. Doing this I was able to not overload the powerpoint with lots of information and rather use it as a visual guide with space at the end to ask questions. I am really happy with how my production pitch ended up, I think its informative but simple and will be a great way to give my project a push into the next stages.
Above are the youtube links to my documentary pitch which I presented to Paul on Monday 27th March.
